Bronco Fund Run

Quarry Trail PTC is excited to host the FIRST EVER Quarry Trial Fund Run! Our Mission is to enhance school spirit and unite the community of students, families, teachers, and admins with a traditional school- wide event that promotes health & overall wellness. The fundraiser will generate donations for PTC initiatives including supporting Educational and Recreational Programs, Teacher and Classroom Supplies, Visual and Performing Arts Programs, and School wide Dual Language Education Support.

What is the Fund Run? The Fund Run is an outdoor event where the children will have 20 minutes to complete laps around the Fund Run course on Quarry Trail Campus.

What should my child wear on the day of the event? Please have your children wear comfortable athletic shoes the day of the event! Special guest appearances from Whitney High School Athletes.

Will there be music? Yes! There will be music entertainment hosted by Bach2Rock!

Will there be prizes? Yes, in addition to all the fun to be had, the highest earning classroom in each grade will WIN a special ice cream treat after returning from break.  The GRAND PRIZE winner will be awarded an Apple iPad for the student with highest dollar amount raised in donations!

How does my child fundraise?  We are excited to streamline our fundraiser by going online with 99Pledges. You will be able to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter in order hit their fundraising goals. They can also go out in the community and collect cash or checks with the Pledge Form. Need another pledge form? Download it here.

Is it a per lap donation? No, rather than a per lap amount we have simplified the process so there are no surprises with asking for a flat donation and the children can run, jog, or walk a personal lap goal in the time allowed.

Pro tip:  Share your child's online fundraising page with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation, so no amount is too small.

Can I attend to watch my child run? Absolutely! All families are invited to cheer on and high five your runner during their scheduled time. The side gate near the Multiple Purpose room will open and there will be a special spectator section for

families as not to disrupt other classes that will be in session.

Class Schedule:

11:40 am - 12:10 pm TK

12:20 pm - 12:50 pm 1st and 2nd

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm 3rd and 4th

1:40 pm - 2:10 pm Kindergarten

2:20 pm - 2:50pm  5th and 6th
